Getting Meals
At Dunkirk-Fredonia Meals on Wheels, we believe every neighbor deserves a nutritious meal, a friendly visit, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing someone cares. Our program is here to support older adults, individuals with disabilities, and anyone in our community who may struggle to prepare meals on their own. With a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, we deliver fresh, healthy meals right to your door—offering comfort, connection, and dependable service you can count on. If you or someone you love could benefit from home-delivered meals, we are here to help with respect, compassion, and a commitment to your wellbeing.

Home-Delivered Meal Services
Our Meals on Wheels program provides nutritious, home-delivered meals for older adults and others who are unable to prepare food for themselves. Meal service can be arranged for either a short-term recovery or an ongoing need.
Referrals are accepted from physicians, social service agencies, hospital discharge planners, family members, or individuals themselves.

To get started, please call NY Connects at (716) 753-4582.
An Outreach Coordinator from the Office for Aging Services will contact you to discuss your individual needs, explain the Meals on Wheels program in more detail, and review meal contribution options. All personal information is kept strictly confidential.

** A note about winter:
If severe weather or unsafe road conditions prevent us from delivering meals, we want to ensure you’re still taken care of. Each fall, we provide an Emergency Bag filled with non-perishable items that you can use whenever deliveries must be paused. These items are meant to help you stay nourished and comfortable until we can safely resume regular service.
